About Me
Greetings and a heartfelt welcome to all my fellow South Australians and Australians!
Allow me to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Kosta Hadjimarkou, and I call the stunning state of South Australia my home. I appreciate that your time is valuable, so I will refrain from sharing my entire life story. However, if you’re curious to learn more about me, don’t hesitate to click on the “About Me” link. With that said, let’s dive right in.
The images of young families enduring the harsh winter rain, seeking refuge in cars or tents due to homelessness, are truly distressing. Meanwhile, the elderly are left feeling that choosing death is preferable to the palliative care they cannot access. Young mothers are faced with the heartbreaking choice of abortion, feeling they have no other option. The loss of innocent children due to a broken child protection system is a tragedy we cannot ignore. Families are forced to abandon their jobs because they cannot afford childcare, leading to a cycle of hardship.
Alongside these troubling matters, our cherished country, Australia, is confronted with a multitude of serious and distressing issues, including the attacks on fundamental rights like Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion and Expression, and traditional Family Values. The shocking attacks on our precious children, by the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones on our vulnerable children, and the so-called “gender affirmation” surgery on them, are alarming. This situation is unbearable, and I refuse to remain a bystander any longer. We need a government that is committed to action, not just empty promises.
My original intention was to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming federal election of 2025. However, I have come to realise that such a decision would place me at a considerable disadvantage regarding my visibility on the white senate ballot paper.
Research indicates that approximately 90% of voters typically cast their votes above the line, a privilege reserved exclusively for registered political parties, which can display their name and logo in that section.
For this reason, I have decided to form a political party named Kosta Hadjimarkou for South Australia, allowing me to appear above the line and thereby improving my visibility which not only helps voters find me more easily but also raising the likelihood of being elected.
It is with great enthusiasm that I announce my candidacy for the 2025 Federal election, and I humbly seek your support and vote to become your next Senator. Together, we can build a brighter future. May God bless you all, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve you as your next Senator.
Yours sincerely,
Kosta Hadjimarkou
